The most recent UFC event was UFC 273, which took place on February 26th, 2023. The main event of the night was a middleweight championship bout between Israel Adesanya and Darren Till. Adesanya was defending his title for the fourth time, while Till was looking to win his first UFC belt.

The fight started off cautiously, with both fighters taking their time to gauge each other's distance and timing. Adesanya was using his trademark striking skills, while Till was looking to counter with his power punches. The first round was a close one, with neither fighter able to establish a clear advantage.

In the second round, Adesanya started to find his range, landing some heavy leg kicks and jabs. Till was still dangerous with his punches, but he was starting to show signs of fatigue. Adesanya continued to dominate in the third round, landing a beautiful head kick that rocked Till and almost finished the fight.

Till showed incredible heart and resilience, coming back strong in the fourth round and landing some heavy punches of his own. Adesanya weathered the storm, however, and continued to use his superior movement and striking to outscore Till in the final round.

In the end, Adesanya was declared the winner by unanimous decision, retaining his middleweight championship belt. It was a great display of skill and courage from both fighters, and a worthy main event for UFC 273.

Other notable fights on the card included a women's strawweight bout between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rose Namajunas and a lightweight clash between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler. Jedrzejczyk and Namajunas put on a thrilling rematch of their classic fight from a few years ago, with Namajunas coming out on top this time by a split decision. Oliveira and Chandler, meanwhile, engaged in a back-and-forth battle that saw Oliveira emerge victorious by TKO in the second round.

Overall, UFC 273 was a fantastic event that showcased the best of MMA. The UFC continues to be the premier organization in the sport, and fans can look forward to many more exciting fights in the months and years to come.
